A Bill to amend Article 1, Chapter 77, Title 38, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to automobile insurance, by adding Section 38-77-45 so as to provide that no used motor vehicle parts or motor vehicle parts other than those of the original equipment manufacturer may be used to repair a motor vehicle as a result of an automobile accident where the cost of the property damage is being paid by the insurer of the at-fault party, without the consent of the owner of the vehicle being repaired.
