    AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT BEGINNING WITH SCHOOL YEAR 2003-2004, THE STARTING DATE AND ENDING DATE FOR THE ANNUAL SCHOOL TERM OF SCHOOL DISTRICTS NO. 50 AND 52 IN GREENWOOD COUNTY, SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 51 IN GREENWOOD AND LAURENS COUNTIES, AND SCHOOL DISTRICTS NO. 55 AND 56 IN LAURENS COUNTY MUST BE SET BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE DISTRICTS IN THEIR SOLE DISCRETION, PROVIDED THAT THE ANNUAL SCHOOL TERM MUST COMPLY WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 59-1-420 RELATING TO LENGTH OF THE SCHOOL TERM. - ratified title
