H 3977 General Bill, By Meacham
    A Bill to establish within the South Carolina Department of Insurance an Insurance Fraud Bureau, provide for the powers and duties of the Bureau, and provide for related matters, including a provision that a person convicted for the violation of any law concerning insurance fraud, following the investigation and referral for prosecution by the Bureau, shall be ordered to make restitution for financial loss sustained as a result of that violation.
