    A BILL TO AMEND ACT 503 OF 1982, RELATING TO THE AIKEN COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT MEMBERS OF THE BOARD MUST BE ELECTED IN PARTISAN ELECTIONS, BEGINNING IN THE YEAR 2000 AT THE GENERAL ELECTION WITH THE ELECTION OF MEMBERS WHO WILL SUCCEED THE MEMBERS WHOSE TERMS EXPIRE IN 2001, TO CLARIFY THAT THE LAWS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION APPLY; TO DELETE PROVISIONS INCONSISTENT WITH GENERAL ELECTION LAWS.
