A Joint Resolution to direct the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control to adopt bioremediation as an acceptable technology for treating appropriate hazardous waste, to authorize and require its use on at least twenty-five percent of its sites by January 1, 1994; to require the Department to review its statutory and regulatory law and make changes necessary to facilitate the use of bioremediation, and to direct the Department to do a cost analysis and to evaluate the effectiveness of using this technology.
