    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 59-67-155 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT ANY SCHOOL BUS DRIVER WHO WORKED AN AVERAGE OF TWENTY-FIVE HOURS OR MORE PER WEEK DURING THE PREVIOUS SCHOOL YEAR SHALL BE CONSIDERED A PERMANENT PART-TIME EMPLOYEE (PPT) OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT DURING THE CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR AND AS SUCH SHALL BE ENTITLED TO THE SAME INSURANCE, LEAVE, AND RETIREMENT BENEFITS THAT OTHER PERMANENT PART-TIME EMPLOYEES OF THE STATE RECEIVE.
