Summary: State legal holidays
    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 6-1-135 SO AS TO REQUIRE ALL POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS OF THE STATE RECEIVING ANY STATE FUNDS TO OBSERVE STATE LEGAL HOLIDAYS, TO PROVIDE THAT PAYMENT OF STATE FUNDS OTHERWISE DUE A POLITICAL SUBDIVISION MUST BE SUSPENDED IF A POLITICAL SUBDIVISION FAILS TO OBSERVE ALL STATE LEGAL HOLIDAYS, AND TO DEFINE "POLITICAL SUBDIVISION".
