A Concurrent Resolution recognizing the week of May 14-20, 1989, as National Transportation Week, and recognizing that transit helps conserve energy, reduce pollution, and relieve congestion by providing mobility for all, including the young, old, disabled and poor, who depend upon transit for safe clean, efficient, and effective service for the people of South Carolina.
