A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT LOCAL SCHOOL BOARDS FOR SCHOOL YEAR 1999-2000 MAY EXCUSE UP TO THREE SCHOOL DAYS MISSED BECAUSE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, TO PROVIDE THAT ALL OTHER SCHOOL DAYS MISSED BECAUSE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER MUST BE MADE UP, TO PROVIDE FOR THE MANNER IN WHICH AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH SUCH DAYS SHALL BE MADE UP, AND TO PROVIDE THAT A SCHOOL DISTRICT WHICH TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE ABOVE EXEMPTIONS OR EXEMPTIONS PROVIDED BY ANY OTHER ACT OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY FOR SCHOOL YEAR 1999-2000 FOR MISSED SCHOOL DAYS MUST DESIGNATE THREE DAYS IN THE SCHOOL CALENDAR THAT MAY BE USED FOR MAKING UP DAYS MISSED IN SCHOOL YEAR 2000-2001 DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER BEFORE THAT DISTRICT MAY SEEK EXEMPTION FOR ADDITIONAL MISSED SCHOOL DAYS.-AMENDED TITLE
