S 0968 General Bill, By Jackson
    A Bill to amend Subarticle 11, Article 13, Chapter 7, Title 20, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to child day care facilities, by adding Section 20-7-2725 so as to provide that no initial license, approval, or registration to operate a private day care center, group day care home, public day care center, family day care home, church or religious day care center, or other facility described in this Subarticle on a regular or provisional basis shall be issued unless and until the criminal background checks required by this Subarticle are completed for the applicant and all employees and caregivers who will work at the facility when it begins operation.
