S 0989 General Bill, By H.S. Stilwell and Wilson
    A Bill to amend Section 12-43-220, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the classification and valuation of property for purposes of ad valorem taxation, so as to allow the owner of residential real property to qualify for the four percent assessment ratio regardless of when the owner acquired title if the property received the four percent ratio in a prior tax year and no disqualifying change of use has occurred in the interval since it last qualified for the four percent ratio.
