service as Edgefield County Administrator and to wish him well in his future
endeavors.

A SENATE
RESOLUTION
TO RECOGNIZE DR. T.C. MCCAIN FOR TEN YEARS OF
FAITHFUL SERVICE AS EDGEFIELD COUNTY
ADMINISTRATOR AND TO WISH HIM WELL IN HIS
FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, Dr. T.C. McCain of Edgefield for ten years managed the
affairs of that county as county administrator; and
Whereas, recognized at a reception held in his honor, Dr. McCain
was presented a plaque commemorating his ten years of faithful
service to the county by County Council Chairman Monroe Kneece;
and
Whereas, United States Senator Strom Thurmond and Congressman
Butler Derrick saluted Dr. McCain at the gathering with letters that
were read by Mr. Kneece; and
Whereas, Senator Thurmond wrote, "He was able to
accomplish many things in his tenure which have improved the
quality of life for all residents of this county. Thanks to the vision
of civic leaders and Dr. McCain's abilities as an administrator,
Edgefield County is well positioned for strong growth well into the
next century;" and
Whereas, the members of the Senate welcome the opportunity to
join the many friends and admirers of Dr. McCain in thanking him
for his unselfish service to his community; Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the Senate recognize Dr. T.C. McCain for ten
years of faithful service as Edgefield County Administrator and
wish him well in his future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to
Dr. T.C. McCain.
