 A Bill to amend Section 50-11-2190, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976,
 relating to the collection of wildlife for scientific or propagating purposes,
 so as to provide that permits shall be required to take or possess protected
 wildlife, to define "Protected Wildlife" and "Taking", to require reports of
 specimens collected, to allow student assistants who are working under the
 supervision of the permittee to engage in collecting activities under the
 permit, to require adherence to scientific methods in the collection of
 specimens and require that data, results and specimens, if practicable, be
 made available to the public on request, and to provide penalties for
 violations.-at
