Whereas, she helped the library celebrate the seventy-fifth PreviousanniversaryNext of bookmobile service to Laurens County and the thirtieth PreviousanniversaryNext of the headquarters building, as well as assisting with the purchase of a new Bookmobile in 2017 and with the completion of many library improvements, including interior painting and new carpeting; and

Whereas, under Ms. Szypulski's direction, the library held many events for the entertainment and education of the residents of Laurens County, such as author talks, visiting drama productions, genealogy programs, teen and children's programs, and a special viewing party for the eclipse; and

Whereas, grateful for her many years of distinguished service to the Laurens Library System, the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina takes great pleasure in extending best wishes to PreviousAnnNext Szypulski as she transitions to a richly deserved retirement and the leisurely pace of the days ahead.
