 BEING NAMED FEMALE STATE EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR BY THE SOUTH CAROLINA STATE
 EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION.

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE MRS. PreviousANNNext B. MARTIN OF MCCORMICK UPON BEING NAMED FEMALE STATE EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR BY THE SOUTH CAROLINA STATE EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are very pleased to learn that Mrs. PreviousAnnNext B. Martin of McCormick has been named Female State Employee of the Year by the South Carolina State Employees Association; and

Whereas, Mrs. Martin is the McCormick County Administrative Supervisor for the Upper Savannah Health District of the Department of Health and Environmental Control and as such supervises patient care in the six-county area which the Upper Savannah Health District serves; and

Whereas, PreviousAnnNext Martin began her state career as a staff member with this agency in 1974 and during her career has worked in programs relating to family planning, maternity care, childrens' health, tuberculosis, vital records, and many other areas as needed. In October, 1988, she was promoted to the supervisory level in recognition of her outstanding accomplishments and success; and

Whereas, in addition to being a dynamic and energetic state employee, she has served her county and State as a community leader in many various endeavors, including service as a member of the Board of Visitors at Piedmont Technical College, a team captain and volunteer with the March of Dimes, a member of the Strategic Planning Committee for the McCormick County School District and as an active member of the McCormick First Baptist Church; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to publicly recognize and congratulate this outstanding and lovely lady upon her receipt of this truly deserved award. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly hereby congratulate Mrs. PreviousAnnNext B. Martin of McCormick upon being named Female State Employee of the Year by the South Carolina State Employees Association.

Be it further resolved that pursuant to Rule 10.1 of the Rules of the House, Mrs. PreviousAnnNext B. Martin shall be granted the privilege of the floor of the House of Representatives at a date and time to be determined by the Speaker for the purpose of being recognized and honored for this award.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to

Mrs. PreviousAnn B. Martin.
