M.P. Miles, R.L. Rigdon and B.E. Thrailkill
A Bill to amend Section 12-33-210, as amended, and Section 12-33-220, Code of
Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to certain licenses issued under the
provisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act, so as to increase the
initial application fee, provide for an annual application renewal fee, and
increase the license tax imposed on a retail liquor dealer's license, to amend
Section 61-5-80, as amended, relating to certain Alcoholic Beverage Control
Act license fees for nonprofit organizations and certain business
establishments or restaurants, so as to increase the initial application fee,
provide for an annual application renewal fee, increase the annual license
fee, and revise manner in which the initial annual license fee is prorated, to
amend Section 61-9-310, as amended, relating to permits for selling beer and
wine, so as to increase the initial application fee, provide for an annual
application renewal fee, and increase the annual permit fees for retail and
wholesale dealers, to provide for the manner in which the additional revenue
generated by the provisions of this Act shall be expended, and to repeal
Section 61-9-370 relating to the fee to transfer the location of a beer and
wine permit.
