A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO RECOGNIZE AND CONGRATULATE MR. AND MRS. MILTON WEBB OF BEECH ISLAND ON THE CELEBRATION OF THEIR FIFTIETH WEDDING PreviousANNIVERSARYNext AS THEY RENEW THEIR MARRIAGE VOWS ON AUGUST 18, 2001.

Whereas, with great pride and enthusiasm, the members of the House of Representatives have learned that Milton and Sarah Webb of Beech Island will celebrate their fiftieth wedding PreviousanniversaryNext by renewing their marriage vows on August 18, 2001; and

Whereas, this special occasion will be solemnized at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18th at the Heights Baptist Church in Beech Island; and

Whereas, Milton and Sarah have been important and active members of the Beech Island community for twenty-six years and many of their friends and relatives will join them for the ceremony followed by a reception in the church social hall; and

Whereas, the Webbs are blessed with four lovely children; three daughters, Elizabeth PreviousAnnNext, Kay, and Renee, and one son Milton, Jr.; and

Whereas, they are further blessed with three grandsons and two granddaughters; and

Whereas, the Webbs' strong morals and Christian values have been wonderful examples to their children, their children's families, and their many friends and acquaintances over the years of the past half-century; and

Whereas, the strength of their union is a true example of commitment, devotion, Christian love, faith, and endurance; and

Whereas, their innumerable friends respect, admire, and love them deeply for their outstanding qualities and exemplary deeds; and

Whereas, we in the House of Representatives honor the true meaning of marriage when we honor Sarah and Milton Webb and extend to them our best wishes. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives recognize and congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Milton Webb of Beech Island on the celebration of their fiftieth wedding Previousanniversary as they renew their marriage vows on August 18, 2001.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Mr. and Mrs. Milton Webb.
