TO RECOGNIZE AND CONGRATULATE GLADYS AND JOE GRIMAUD OF LEXINGTON COUNTY ON REACHING THEIR FIFTIETH WEDDING PreviousANNIVERSARYNext AND TO EXTEND BEST WISHES FOR MANY MORE YEARS OF BLESSING AND FULFILLMENT.

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives are pleased to learn that Mr. and Mrs. Joe Grimaud of Lexington County will celebrate their fiftieth wedding PreviousanniversaryNext next month; and

Whereas, there is no greater success in life than a marriage and family life that endures the test of time and grows stronger with each passing year; and

Whereas, the long-lasting love and support of a spouse is unmatched in its importance and cannot be overestimated; and

Whereas, the commitment of Gladys and Joe Grimaud to one another over the past fifty years is to be revered and serves as an inspiration to both family and friends; and

Whereas, to honor this lovely couple, their family and friends will gather in joyous celebration on Saturday, June 2, 2007, at the Capital City Club in Columbia; and

Whereas, it is with great pleasure that the members of the House of Representatives express their congratulations to these two outstanding South Carolinians on reaching the milestone of their golden wedding PreviousanniversaryNext. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and congratulate Gladys and Joe Grimaud of Lexington County on reaching their fiftieth wedding Previousanniversary and extend best wishes for many more years of blessing and fulfillment.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Grimaud.
