 honored as North Augusta's 1994 Citizens of the Year by the Chamber of
 Commerce and to commend them for their tireless service to the community.

A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE DR. AND MRS. RANDY COOPER FOR BEING HONORED AS NORTH AUGUSTA'S 1994 CITIZENS OF THE YEAR BY THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND TO COMMEND THEM FOR THEIR TIRELESS SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY.

Whereas, Dr. and Mrs. Randy Cooper have been named North Augusta's 1994 Citizens of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce; and

Whereas, Dr. and Mrs. Cooper were named in separate years as Service to Mankind winners, an award presented by the Sertoma Club of North Augusta; and

Whereas, Dr. Cooper and Mrs. Cooper donate their time to the physical well-being of youth athletes by organizing team physicals for the middle schools and high school. Dr. Cooper is the physician for the Yellow Jackets; and

Whereas, Dr. and Mrs. Cooper are active members at First Baptist Church of North Augusta where Dr. Cooper is Chairman of the Deacons. Mrs. Cooper, a nurse, assists in giving blood pressure checks to members of the Sheffield Club. She is also a creative flower arranger and uses this talent for many church functions; and

Whereas, Dr. and Mrs. Cooper have given untold hours to North Augusta's youth, their church, and community; Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate congratulate Dr. and Mrs. Randy Cooper for being honored as North Augusta's 1994 Citizens of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce and commend them for their tireless service to the community.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Dr. and Mrs. Randy Cooper.
