he leaves his position on the Aiken Technical Education Commission and to
thank him for his years of service to the Commission.

A SENATE RESOLUTION
TO RECOGNIZE MR. WILLIAM E. HARRIS, OF NORTH
AUGUSTA, AS HE LEAVES HIS POSITION ON THE AIKEN
TECHNICAL EDUCATION COMMISSION AND TO THANK HIM
FOR HIS YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE COMMISSION.
Whereas, Mr. William E. Harris, of North Augusta, has served on the
Aiken Technical Education Commission for twenty years; and
Whereas, he has been an active member of the Aiken Technical
Education Commission during his twenty years of service and has seen
the construction of the buildings and participated in the various policy
matters which relate to the expansion of the educational programs for
students; and
Whereas, Mr. Harris particularly has been interested in the fiscal
management of Aiken Technical College operations; and
Whereas, the members of the Senate wish Mr. Harris well in his future
endeavors. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the Senate recognize Mr. William E. Harris, of
North Augusta, as he leaves his position on the Aiken Technical
Education Commission and thank him for his years of service to the
commission.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr.
Harris.
