TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, LICENSING AND REGULATION - BOARD OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, RELATING TO REACTIVATION OF INACTIVE OR LAPSED LICENSES; AND CODE OF ETHICS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 4854, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina: SECTION 1. The regulations of the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation - Board of Occupational Therapy, relating to Reactivation of Inactive or Lapsed Licenses; and Code of Ethics, designated as Regulation Document Number 4854, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved. SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
The South Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy proposes to amend R.94-07 to provide more options to allow individuals to reinstate a license, and to amend R.94-10, its code of ethics, to achieve consistency with the national standards. A Notice of Drafting was published in the State Register on August 24, 2018.
