Senate to the family and many friends of Mr. James S. (Mac) McKinney of Aiken
who died February 20, 1993.

A SENATE RESOLUTION
TO EXPRESS THE DEEPEST SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF
THE SENATE TO THE FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS OF MR.
JAMES S. (MAC) MCKINNEY OF AIKEN WHO DIED FEBRUARY
20, 1993.
Whereas, Mr. James S. (Mac) McKinney of Aiken died February 20,
1993; and
Whereas, a native of Augusta, for many years Mr. McKinney was a
service representative for Johnson Motor Co. in that city. He served as
a sergeant in the Army during World War II; and
Whereas, he was past president of the Langley-Bath-Clearwater Lions
Club and served as the club's sight conservation chairman. Mr.
McKinney was also a member of American Legion Post 153 and
Inter-Locking Squares; and
Whereas, as a deacon at the Gloverville Baptist Church, at the time of
his death Mr. McKinney was a member of Curtis Baptist Church in
Augusta and its Carswell-Parrish Bible Class; and
Whereas, the members of the Senate are proud to have this opportunity
to recognize the life and accomplishments of Mac McKinney. Now,
therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the Senate express their deepest sympathy to the
family and many friends of Mr. James S. (Mac) McKinney of Aiken who
died February 20, 1993. Be it further resolved that a copy of this
resolution be forwarded to the family of Mr. McKinney.
