AN ACT TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 23-9-65 SO AS TO PERMIT THE USE IN THIS STATE OF CERTAIN AUTOMATIC FUELING CLIPS ON SELF-SERVICE GASOLINE DISPENSERS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Automatic fueling clips permitted

SECTION 1. Chapter 9, Title 23 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 23-9-65. Automatic fueling clips on self-service gasoline dispensers that are permitted in the National Fire Protection Association Pamphlet 30A, 1987 Edition, are permitted to be used in this State. The State Fire Commission shall promulgate regulations necessary to implement the provisions of this section."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
