A BILL
TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976,
BY ADDING SECTION 39-41-295 SO AS TO REQUIRE MOTOR
VEHICLE FUEL SERVICE STATIONS SELLING FOOD OR
BEVERAGES TO PROVIDE A PUBLIC REST ROOM.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 39-41-295. A motor vehicle fuel service station,
including a convenience store that sells gasoline, that sells food or
beverages shall provide a rest room for use by the public."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect three months after approval by the
Governor.
