A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING C. E. WILLIAMS MIDDLE SCHOOL OF CHARLESTON COUNTY ON ITS SELECTION AS A NATIONAL BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL.

Whereas, C. E. Williams Middle School has been selected as a National Blue Ribbon School; and

Whereas, this award is sponsored by the United States Department of Education and was given by the 1992-93 Elementary Blue Ribbon Schools Program; and

Whereas, the parents, students, teachers, and principal of C. E. Williams Middle School have demonstrated their unity in providing and obtaining excellence in education; and

Whereas, C. E. Williams Middle School's receipt of this award is a high honor and one which is greatly deserving of recognition. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates C. E. Williams Middle School of Charleston County on its selection as a National Blue Ribbon School.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to James Mobley, Principal of C. E. Williams Middle School.
