EXPRESSING THE CONGRATULATIONS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO MR. ZOLA DAVIS OF CHARLESTON IN CHARLESTON COUNTY UPON HIS EXTRAORDINARY RECORD AS A MEMBER OF THE BURKE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly were pleased to note that Mr. Zola Davis, a senior at Burke High School in Charleston, is completing his high school education after an extraordinary record of achievement as a member of the Burke High School football team; and

Whereas, those awards and achievements include a three-time All-Lowcountry selection as a defensive back and wide receiver, two time All-Region 6AAAA defensive back and wide receiver, as 1993-94 All-Lowcountry offensive player of the year, as the Associated Press All-State wide receiver, as the first athlete in the history of Burke High School selected to participate in the Shrine Bowl, in Sports Report top 100, as a Reebok All American, as a SHCULTT All American, as the only player in South Carolina selected as a 1993-94 PARADE Magazine All American; and

Whereas, it is appropriate for members of the General Assembly to pause in their deliberations so that they might note the achievements of so extraordinary a scholar athlete as Mr. Zola Davis. Now, therefore,
