A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
CONGRATULATING THE REVEREND E.W. DAVIS OF
RICHLAND COUNTY ON HIS FOURTEENTH ANNIVERSARY
AS PASTOR OF LITTLE ZION BAPTIST CHURCH IN
BLYTHEWOOD.
Whereas, the Reverend E.W. Davis of Richland County, Pastor of
Little Zion Baptist Church in Blythewood for fourteen years, is a
proven community leader and innovative pastor who has
demonstrated concern for the people of the Blythewood and
Columbia communities; and
Whereas, he successfully led his congregation in the construction of
a new worship center; he has established a community day care
center and has developed an outreach ministry called Our Daily
Bread Outreach, which is dedicated to the ideals of community
evangelism; he has also developed many ministries at Little Zion
Baptist Church to help young people and adults realize their full
potential as human beings and especially as children of God; and
Whereas, Pastor Davis is a remarkable individual, full of dedication,
faith, hope, and love; everyone who knows him admires him for his
values and leadership abilities, and we are pleased to have this
opportunity to recognize him. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate
concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this
resolution, congratulates the Reverend E.W. Davis of Richland
County on his fourteenth anniversary as Pastor of Little Zion Baptist
Church in Blythewood.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to
the Reverend E.W. Davis.
