 Thomas Furman of Allendale County for her outstanding and dedicated service as
 Allendale County Auditor since 1983.

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXTENDING CONGRATULATIONS AND BEST WISHES OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA TO MS. BOBBY THOMAS FURMAN OF ALLENDALE COUNTY FOR HER OUTSTANDING AND DEDICATED SERVICE AS ALLENDALE COUNTY AUDITOR SINCE 1983.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are sadden to learn that Ms. Bobby Thomas Furman will retire as Allendale County Auditor this summer; and

Whereas, Ms. Furman's retirement will be a great loss to Allendale County; and

Whereas, she began working for Allendale County in 1943 and served the county continuously in various capacities for more than fifty years; and

Whereas, Ms. Furman was elected Allendale County Auditor in 1982 without opposition and has been reelected two additional times without opposition; and

Whereas, this individual has dedicated her life to the service of the citizens of Allendale County. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of South Carolina extend their congratulations and best wishes to Ms. Bobby Thomas Furman of Allendale County for her outstanding and dedicated service as Allendale County Auditor for twelve years and continuous service to Allendale County for more than fifty years.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Ms. Furman.
