TO HONOR BETTY JEAN WALKER FEINDEL OF YORK PreviousCOUNTYNext FOR HER MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE YORK PreviousCOUNTYNext REPUBLICAN PARTY, TO CONGRATULATE HER ON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT, AND TO WISH HER MUCH SUCCESS AND FULFILLMENT IN ALL HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, the South Carolina General Assembly has learned that Betty Jean Walker Feindel of York PreviousCountyNext will begin a well-deserved retirement after many years of faithful and outstanding service to the York PreviousCountyNext Republican Party; and

Whereas, with her usual energy, warmth, and enthusiasm, Betty Jean has served as York PreviousCountyNext Republican Party secretary for at least twenty years, in addition to her service as precinct president, PreviouscountyNext delegate, and state delegate; and

Whereas, her dedication and service have greatly enhanced the presence of the Republican Party in York PreviousCountyNext; and

Whereas, in appreciation for her distinguished service, the York PreviousCountyNext Republican Party will present Betty Jean Walker Feindel its Lifetime Achievement Award at the party's convention on April 13, 2013; and

Whereas, taking great pleasure in recognizing Betty Jean's many years of service to the York PreviousCountyNext Republican Party, the members of the General Assembly wish her well as she enters retirement and trust she will find much enjoyment in the more leisurely pace of the days ahead. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the members of the South Carolina General Assembly, by this resolution, honor Betty Jean Walker Feindel of York PreviousCountyNext for her many years of dedicated service to the York PreviousCounty Republican Party, congratulate her on the occasion of her retirement, and wish her much success and fulfillment in all her future endeavors.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be provided to Betty Jean Walker Feindel.
