A BILL

TO DEVOLVE THE POWERS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FAIRFIELD PreviousCOUNTYNext RECREATION DISTRICT ON THE GOVERNING BODY OF FAIRFIELD PreviousCOUNTYNext, TO TRANSFER ALL ASSETS AND LIABILITIES OF THE DISTRICT TO THE PreviousCOUNTYNext, AND TO REPEAL ACT 1059 OF 1970 RELATING TO THE CREATION OF THE FAIRFIELD PreviousCOUNTYNext RECREATION DISTRICT.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The powers, duties, and responsibilities of the Fairfield PreviousCountyNext Recreation District are devolved on the governing body of Fairfield PreviousCountyNext. All assets and liabilities of the district are transferred to the governing body of Fairfield PreviousCountyNext on the effective date of this act.

SECTION 2. Act 1059 of 1970 is repealed.

SECTION 3. This act becomes effective when the governing body of Fairfield PreviousCounty adopts an ordinance accepting the devolution of the powers, duties, and responsibilities pursuant to the provisions of this act.
