TO CONVEY TO BEAUFORT PreviousCOUNTYNext STANDING TO BRING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST A PreviousCOUNTYNext WHOSE GEOGRAPHIC BOUNDARIES ARE CONTIGUOUS TO BEAUFORT'S WHEN A CONTIGUOUS PreviousCOUNTYNext'S TRAFFIC CONGESTION OR STORMWATER RUNOFF ADVERSELY AFFECTS THE CITIZENS OF BEAUFORT PreviousCOUNTYNext.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Beaufort PreviousCountyNext is granted standing to bring legal action against a PreviouscountyNext whose geographic boundaries are contiguous to Beaufort's when a contiguous PreviouscountyNext's traffic congestion or stormwater runoff adversely affects the citizens of Beaufort PreviousCounty.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
