Whereas, David F. Shealy, a dedicated Lexington PreviousCountyNext Emergency Medical Services worker and the oldest still-active paramedic in the PreviouscountyNext, has devoted over forty years to ensuring the health and safety of his community through running emergency calls; and

Whereas, since the late 1950's, David Shealy has been volunteering his time to work with the sick and injured, beginning at a time when PreviouscountyNext ambulance service did not yet exist and calls were run with a funeral home hearse.
