AN ACT TO ABOLISH THE OFFICE OF DORCHESTER COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION
AND DEVOLVE THE DUTIES OF THIS OFFICE UPON THE DORCHESTER COUNTY BOARD OF
EDUCATION, AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD MAY SIGN VOUCHERS FOR
FUNDS TO OPERATE THE SCHOOL DISTRICTS OF THE COUNTY.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Dorchester County Superintendent of Education
SECTION 1. The office of Dorchester County Superintendent of Education is
abolished and the duties of this office are devolved upon the Dorchester County
Board of Education. The Chairman of the board may sign vouchers for funds to
operate the school districts of the county.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor. |
