A BILL
TO PROVIDE THAT THE APPOINTMENT AND BUDGETARY
REVIEW POWERS OF THE CHARLESTON COUNTY
LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION IN REGARD TO THE AREA
COMMISSION FOR THE BERKELEY-CHARLESTON-
DORCHESTER TECHNICAL EDUCATION CENTER ARE
DEVOLVED UPON THE CHARLESTON COUNTY COUNCIL.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the
appointment and budgetary review powers of the Charleston County
Legislative Delegation in regard to the Area Commission for the
Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Technical Education Center are hereby
devolved upon the Charleston County Council.
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the
appointment and budgetary review powers of the Berkeley County
Legislative Delegation in regard to the Area Commission for the
Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Technical Education Center are hereby
devolved upon the Berkeley County Council.
SECTION 3. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the
appointment and budgetary review powers of the Dorchester County
Legislative Delegation in regard to the Area Commission for the
Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Technical Education Center are hereby
devolved upon the Dorchester County Council.
SECTION 4. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
