A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO HONOR AND RECOGNIZE WILLIAM E. TRADO, JR. UPON THE OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT, TO COMMEND HIM FOR HIS THIRTY-TWO YEARS OF COMBINED FEDERAL SERVICE, AND TO WISH HIM CONTINUED SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN ALL HIS FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are pleased to recognize William E. Trado, Jr. upon the occasion of his retirement on April 28, 2017; and

Whereas, William E. Trado, Jr. was born on July 18, 1956 in Anderson, South Carolina to Margaret and William Trado, Sr. He graduated from Clemson University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science; and

Whereas, William began his career with the United States Department of Agriculture in 1983 as the assistant countyNext supervisor for the Farmers Home Administration in Horry PreviousCountyNext. For Georgetown PreviousCountyNext's Farmers Home Administration, he served as PreviouscountyNext supervisor, and for Anderson PreviousCountyNext's, he served as assistant PreviouscountyNext supervisor, farm loan officer, and district loan specialist. He was also as an acting district director for the USDA Farm Service Agency, assisting in the training of more than fourteen PreviouscountyNext executive directors for South Carolina's Farm Service Agency; and

Whereas, since 1996, William has served as the PreviouscountyNext executive director of the USDA Farm Service Agency in Williamsburg PreviousCountyNext and has administered many farm and disaster programs that have provided millions of dollars in support to the farmers of Williamsburg PreviousCounty; and

Whereas, William is married to Ivy Trado and lives in Kingstree, South Carolina. He has two children, Brandon and Aimee, and one grandchild, Logan; and

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are grateful for the legacy of commitment and care that William E. Trado, Jr. has bestowed on the State and appreciate his enduring service to the residents of South Carolina. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, honor and recognize William E. Trado, Jr. upon the occasion of his retirement, commend him for his thirty-two years of combined federal service, and wish him continued success and happiness in all his future endeavors.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to William E. Trado, Jr.
