A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO DESIGNATE SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAY 61 EXPRESSWAY IN CHARLESTON COUNTY AS THE "GLENN F. McCONNELL HIGHWAY".

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. South Carolina Highway 61 Expressway in Charleston County is designated as the "Glenn F. McConnell Highway". The Department of Highways and Public Transportation shall install appropriate markers or signs at places along the highway as the department considers advisable containing the words "Glenn F. McConnell Highway".

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
