 A SENATE RESOLUTION TO CONGRATULATE THE DANIEL HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM FOR
 THEIR WINNING RECORD AND TO CONGRATULATE COACH JEFF FRUSTER FOR BEING NAMED
 THE CAROLINA PANTHERS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL COACH OF THE YEAR.

TO CONGRATULATE THE DANIEL HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM FOR THEIR WINNING RECORD AND TO CONGRATULATE COACH JEFF FRUSTER FOR BEING NAMED THE CAROLINA PANTHERS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL COACH OF THE YEAR.

Whereas, the South Carolina Senate is pleased to learn that, over the past two years, the Daniel High School football team has achieved a combined twenty-four wins and zero losses, matching the longest winning streak in school history. The team has won back-to-back Class 3A State championships, a feat that was last achieved at Daniel High School across the 1991 and 1992 seasons; and

Whereas, the Carolina Panthers have named Daniel High School's Coach Jeff Fruster the franchise's High School Football Coach of the Year and their nominee for the Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year award; and

Whereas, under the leadership of Coach Fruster, the Daniel High School football team has worked with admirable dedication to achieve their fullest potential. They have made their school and community proud; and

Whereas, the Senate takes great pleasure in saluting the team for their hard work and their winning record. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, congratulate the Daniel High School football team for their winning record and congratulate Coach Jeff Fruster for being named the Carolina Panthers High School Football Coach of the Year.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to the Daniel High School football team.
