 A HOUSE RESOLUTION TO CONGRATULATE THE DUTCH FORK HIGH SCHOOL SILVER FOXES ON
 WINNING THE CLASS AAAA STATE GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP.

TO CONGRATULATE THE DUTCH FORK HIGH SCHOOL SILVER FOXES ON WINNING THE CLASS AAAA STATE GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP.

Whereas, the golf team of Dutch Fork High School shot a record-breaking fifty-four hole score of eight hundred eighty-two to capture a seven stroke win over Hillcrest High School and other high caliber teams for the Class AAAA State Golf Championship; and

Whereas, this championship team of seniors came into the state tournament well prepared and with dogged determination, demonstrating their wealth of experience, discipline, and talent; and

Whereas, this group of outstanding players captured this victory under the exceptional leadership and superb coaching of Head Golf Coach Mark Giles, himself a talented athlete and from a family of coaches guiding many South Carolina high school teams to state titles; and

Whereas, the championship players, who are to be congratulated on their sterling performance and a fantastic closure to their high school golfing years, are Seniors Matt Bryant, Chris Columb, Adam Dox, Steven Hartwig, and Dustin Johnson, the remaining team members include Robert Haynes, Jeff Koon, and Dinah Plyler; and

Whereas, the House of Representatives is pleased to have this opportunity to publicly congratulate such an outstanding group of fine young athletes and exceptional golfers. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulate the Dutch Fork High School Silver Foxes on winning the Class AAAA State Golf Championship.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Coach Mark Giles and the Dutch Fork High School Silver Foxes Golf Team.
