JOHN MICHAEL PALMS, AT A TIME AND ON A DATE TO BE DETERMINED BY THE SPEAKER, FOR THE PURPOSE OF EXPRESSING THE GRATITUDE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR HIS SUCCESSFUL TENURE AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA AND HIS NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE UNIVERSITY AND THE STATE, AND TO WISH HIM WELL AS HE RETIRES TO PURSUE OTHER CHALLENGES.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the privilege of the floor of the South Carolina House of Representatives is extended to Dr. John Michael Palms, at a time and on a date to be determined by the Speaker, for the purpose of expressing the gratitude of the members of the House of Representatives for his successful tenure as President of the University of South Carolina and his notable achievements on behalf of the University and the State, and to wish him well as he retires to pursue other challenges.
