years of service as an African Methodist Episcopal Church pastor and to wish
him and his wife, Rose Marie, well in all their future endeavors.

A CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION
COMMENDING THE REVEREND JAMES NEDD FOR MORE
THAN FORTY YEARS OF SERVICE AS AN AFRICAN
METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH PASTOR AND TO WISH
HIM AND HIS WIFE, ROSE MARIE, WELL IN ALL THEIR
FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, The Reverend James Nedd has served as a pastor in the
African Methodist Episcopal Church for more than forty years; and
Whereas, during his tenure as a pastor he spread the word of God
with distinction in the Seventh, Eighth, and Eleventh Episcopal
Districts, which allowed him to lead congregations in South
Carolina, Mississippi, and Florida; and
Whereas, Pastor Nedd has dedicated his life to uplifting the human
spirit and improving societal conditions throughout South Carolina
and this nation. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate
concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly commend The
Reverend James Nedd for more than forty years of dedicated
service to the African Methodist Episcopal Church and wish him
and his wife, Rose Marie, well in all their future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to
The Reverend and Mrs. James Nedd.
