 GREENVILLE COUNTY ON THE TWENTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF HIS DEDICATED ENDEAVORS
 WITH THE PARALEGAL DEPARTMENT OF GREENVILLE TECHNICAL COLLEGE, AND COMMENDING
 HIM FOR HIS OUTSTANDING WORK IN THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF PARALEGALS.

A HOUSE RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING RICHARD (NICK) S. FISHER, ESQUIRE, OF GREENVILLE COUNTY ON THE TWENTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF HIS DEDICATED ENDEAVORS WITH THE PARALEGAL DEPARTMENT OF GREENVILLE TECHNICAL COLLEGE, AND COMMENDING HIM FOR HIS OUTSTANDING WORK IN THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF PARALEGALS.

Whereas, Richard (Nick) S. Fisher was born in Greenville, received his bachelor's degree from Emory University and his law degree from the University of South Carolina, and is a licensed member of the South Carolina Bar; and

Whereas, beginning January 24, 1974, he became associated with the Paralegal Department of Greenville Technical College; he is credited with having built the paralegal program at the college from ground level into the excellent and highly regarded educational and training program for paralegals that it is today; he is department head and is widely recognized as being responsible for turning out many superb paralegals over the years - an accomplishment that has meant much to the success of the State's legal and judicial communities and, indeed, to the citizens of South Carolina; and

Whereas, he is greatly respected and admired by his fellow paralegal educators, having recently completed a three-year term of service on the Board of Directors of AAfPE (the American Association for Paralegal Education); and

Whereas, the year 1999 marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of Nick Fisher's association with the Paralegal Department of Greenville Technical College and of his valuable contributions to excellence in the paralegal profession; we are truly grateful for his quarter century of dedication, hard work, and excellent results and are delighted to have this opportunity to recognize him. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates Richard (Nick) S. Fisher, Esquire, of Greenville County on the twenty-fifth anniversary of his dedicated endeavors with the Paralegal Department of Greenville Technical College and commends him for his outstanding work in the education and training of paralegals.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Nick Fisher.
