 ASSEMBLY TO THE FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS OF THE LATE COLEMAN L. BRAMLETT OF
 BISHOPVILLE.

EXPRESSING THE SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO THE FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS OF THE LATE COLEMAN L. BRAMLETT OF BISHOPVILLE.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly note that Coleman L. Bramlett of Bishopville died May 30, 2000; and

Whereas, Coleman L. Bramlett was born in Lee County, the son of the late John Madison Bramlett and Hettie Beasley Bramlett. He was married to Wilhelmina Alexander Bramlett who predeceased him; and

Whereas, surviving him are his daughter, Cindy Welsh and her husband Steven Welsh of Bishopville, and sons, Dr. Lindy Bramlett and wife Sharon Bramlett of Columbia, Matt Bramlett and wife Betsy Bramlett, Al Bramlett and wife Eva Bramlett of Bishopville, Ronnie Houck and wife Ann Houck of Bethune, and Julius C. Houck and wife Judy Houck of Bishopville. He had thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Three sisters, Alice Gray Houser, Nettie B. Huntley, and Ruby B. Moore also survive Mr. Bramlett; and

Whereas, Coleman L. Bramlett served his country with distinction in the Army during World War II. He was a retired merchant and farmer and a long-time member of the Hephzibah Presbyterian Church; and

Whereas, it is appropriate for the members of the General Assembly to pause in their deliberations so that they might honor the memory of so distinguished a son of South Carolina and extend their sympathy to his family and many friends at their loss. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly express their sympathy to the family and many friends of the late Coleman L. Bramlett of Bishopville.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the children of Coleman L. Bramlett.
