 GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO THE FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS OF FRANK WEEKS OF LONE STAR
 UPON HIS DEATH FROM INJURIES SUSTAINED IN A RECENT AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT.

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO EXPRESS THE DEEPEST SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO THE FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS OF FRANK WEEKS OF LONE STAR UPON HIS DEATH FROM INJURIES SUSTAINED IN A RECENT AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT.

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly were deeply saddened to learn of the recent death of Frank Weeks from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Mississippi; and

Whereas, Mr. Weeks was born in Lone Star, he was a graduate of Cameron High School, attended the University of South Carolina, and was a Merchant Marine; and

Whereas, he was a retired District Captain of Law Enforcement with the South Carolina Wildlife Resources Department where he served for forty-three years. He was chosen Outstanding Game Warden of the Year by the South Carolina Wildlife Federation in 1958; and

Whereas, he was a respected civic and community leader who was elected to the Board of Directors of the Tri-County Electric Cooperative in 1972, where he served continuously for thirty years. He was also a Mason, Shriner, and a member of the Lions Club; and

Whereas, Frank Weeks was blessed with a large and wonderful family including his wife of fifty-three years, a son, daughter, sister, three brothers who predeceased him, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to extend their sincere condolences to his family and many friends upon the death of this truly fine man at the age of seventy-four. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly express their deepest sympathy to the family and many friends of Frank Weeks of Lone Star upon his death from injuries sustained in a recent automobile accident.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to his widow, Mrs. Marjorie Fischer Weeks.
