H*4271 Resolution, By D. Owens
A HOUSE RESOLUTION TO COMMEND BRADFORD CAMPBELL CROOK FOR HIS OUTSTANDING
SERVICE TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AS A SECURITY AGENT AND
TO WISH HIM WELL AND GODSPEED AS HE BEGINS EMPLOYMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES
 SECRET SERVICE.

06/06/01 House Introduced and adopted HJ-45

A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO COMMEND BRADFORD CAMPBELL CROOK FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AS A SECURITY AGENT AND TO WISH HIM WELL AND GODSPEED AS HE BEGINS EMPLOYMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES SECRET SERVICE.

Whereas, though Brad Crook has only been a security agent with the House of Representatives for a relatively brief time, he has distinguished himself by his professionalism, dedication, and commitment; and

Whereas, Agent Crook was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina on June 25, 1973. He graduated from Dorchester Academy where his leadership blossomed and his personal achievements soared; and

Whereas, in high school he was recognized in "Who's Who in American High Schools", was sophomore class president, a member of the National Beta Team, captain of the football team his senior year, and was selected as a delegate to South Carolina Palmetto Boys State; and

Whereas, as a child Brad was intrigued by law enforcement, listening for hours to police scanners and gaining understanding of the codes they used to better follow the inner workings of the police department. This early hobby has led Agent Crook down a career path he seems to have been destined to follow; and

Whereas, Agent Crook received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina, and since then his career has followed his passion for law enforcement; and

Whereas, though we send Agent Crook off with hearty congratulations and best wishes, South Carolina's loss is the federal government's gain. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, commend Bradford Campbell Crook for his outstanding service to the South Carolina House of Representatives as a security agent and to wish him well and Godspeed as he begins employment with the United States Secret Service.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Agent Brad Crook.
