A CONCURRENT
RESOLUTION
CONGRATULATING MR. WILLIE DUBERRY OF SUMMERVILLE
ON THE OCCASION OF HIS ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FIRST BIRTHDAY.
Whereas, Mr. Willie Duberry of Summerville was born on February 7,
1870, on a farm about nine miles from Summerville; and
Whereas, Mr. Duberry at age one hundred and twenty-one is the oldest
person in the world, according to the "Guinness Book of World
Records"; and
Whereas, reaching one's one hundred and twenty-first birthday is an
occasion worthy of recognition, congratulations, and respect. Now,
therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this
resolution, congratulates Mr. Willie Duberry of Summerville on the
occasion of his one hundred and twenty-first birthday.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr.
Duberry.
