A SENATE RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING THE SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AT THE DEATH OF ROBERT E. "BOB" REDDICK, SR., OF LEXINGTON COUNTY, AND EXTENDING SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

Whereas, Robert E. "Bob" Reddick, Sr., of Cayce, Lexington County, died on May 28, 1993, at the age of eighty-four; and

Whereas, Mr. Reddick, born in Columbia, was professionally engaged in the motor transport business; and

Whereas, he was instrumental in the development of the South Carolina Trucking Association, serving as the association's president, member of the board of directors, and as director emeritus; and

Whereas, he was chosen "Motor Carrier Executive of the Year" for the State of South Carolina for 1989; and

Whereas, he was an outstanding individual who was respected and admired by all who knew him; and

Whereas, we want his family and his many friends to know that they are in our thoughts and have our deepest sympathy. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, express sorrow at the death of Robert E. "Bob" Reddick, Sr., of Lexington County and extend sympathy to his family and many friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Reddick's family.
