 A SENATE RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND CONGRATULATING THE MIDLAND VALLEY HIGH
 SCHOOL MUSTANGS OF AIKEN COUNTY ON WINNING THE 1999 REGION 4 CLASS AAA
 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.

RECOGNIZING AND CONGRATULATING THE MIDLAND VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL MUSTANGS OF AIKEN COUNTY ON WINNING THE 1999 REGION 4 CLASS AAA FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Whereas, the Midland Valley High School Mustangs of Aiken County won the 1999 Region 4 Class AAA football championship this fall; and

Whereas, the Mustang's excellent coaching staff directed by head coach Rick Knight provided the team with outstanding mentors and superb coaching throughout the season; and

Whereas, the students, parents, and administration of Midland Valley High School have provided tremendous support and encouragement to the team, significantly contributing to their success.

Whereas, the 1999 Mustangs exhibited exceptional teamwork, talent, courage, and dedication and are highly deserving of the recognition commensurate with this region title. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That, by this resolution, the members of the South Carolina Senate recognize and congratulate the Midland Valley High School Mustangs of Aiken County on winning the 1999 Region 4 Class AAA football championship.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Midland Valley High School principal, coaching staff, and team.
