A Bill to amend Section 44-53-520, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976,
relating to the forfeiture of property used or connected with the illegal use
of a narcotic or controlled substance, so as to authorize the forfeiture of a
motor vehicle which is used to facilitate any transaction to purchase or sell
controlled substances and their compounds and delete provisions authorizing
the forfeiture if the vehicle contained a certain amount of these narcotics or
controlled substances and references that the quantities referred to in this
Section refer to controlled substances or any combinations of them.
