 Baseball Team on winning the 1993 State Class AA Baseball Championship.

A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE THE BISHOPVILLE HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' VARSITY BASEBALL TEAM ON WINNING THE 1993 STATE CLASS AA BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Whereas, the Bishopville Dragons Baseball team made their dreams come true by winning the State Class AA Championship beating Furman; and

Whereas, the last time Bishopville won the championship was 1939; and

Whereas, the Dragons finished with a win-loss record of 24-6; and

Whereas, anticipating the win, Principal Porter Kennington provided state championship tee shirts to the team to celebrate; and

Whereas, Daniel Tiller pitched seven innings giving up only four hits which assisted the team in keeping Furman at bay; and

Whereas, the team played hard and contributed to the successful season. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulate the Bishopville High School Boys' Varsity Baseball team on winning the 1993 State Class AA Baseball Championship.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the team.
