 A Bill to amend Section 4-9-10, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating
 to the selection and changes in forms of County government, so as to provide
 for changes in form, number of council members, terms and method of election
 of council by ordinance of the County Council approved by the registered
 electors of the county and specify the methods of election that may be adopted
 and to clarify the status of local legislation after July 1, 1980; to amend
 Section 4-9-90, relating to election of council members, so as to designate
 County Council as the agency to reapportion single member election districts;
 and to amend Section 4-9-100, relating to dual office holding and compensation
 for council members, so as to permit salaries of supervisors to be increased
 during their terms of office.
